With no moss grown under his recent At.Long.Last.A$AP release, Flacko revealed that he has a new project on the horizon – completing the album of A$AP Yams.
During a recent interview with Charlie Sloth on BBC Radio, Rocky revealed that he will be working to release a posthumous A$AP Yams LP that they’d been working on before his untimely death. “Yams started an album before he passed and he left all his notebooks and blueprints,” he said. “I’m just picking up where he left off. Me and him were going to do the album together. He was working on a crazy album. I’m letting people know, if I’m doing something good, the next thing I do will have to be great.”
Yams’ death surprised the entire hip-hop community. He was found unconscious by his roommate early Sunday (Jan. 18) morning and transported to Brookyln’s Woodhull Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead. His death was later ruled by medical examiners to have been caused by accidental acute mixed drug intoxication including opiates and benzodiazepine.
