YG is at home recovering after reports emerged that he was shot early Friday morning (June 12) at a Los Angeles recording studio.
According to TMZ, an unidentified assailant confronted the rapper at roughly 1:45 a.m. and fired three shots into the Compton rapper’s hip. A member of YG’s team drove him from the Studio City studio to a nearby hospital. The shooter is believed to be at large. Law enforcement reportedly found shell casings and blood on the sidewalk near where the shooting supposedly took place. Police went to the hospital to interview YG about the shooting, but the rapper was reportedly “very uncooperative.”
