Two Men Plead Guilty to Murder of Wiz Khalifa’s Uncle

wiz khalifaThe Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that two men – 21-year-old Michael Wolford and 19-year-old Jaron Young – have pled guilty to the murder of Wiz Khalifa’s uncle, Imani Porter.

Court documents recount the events leading up to Porter’s death and reveal the crime motive. Back in January of 2014, Porter met with the the two young men in a Steak n’ Shake parking lot in Pittsburgh to sell them heroin. When Wolford and Young tried to get the drugs for free, a fight ensued and Porter was shot. He died from a gun shot wound to the head. He was 20 years old.

Wolford and Young pled guilty to third-degree murder, robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and two firearm violations last Friday and received their fate today. Wolford was sentenced 30 to 60 years in prison while Young was sentenced to serve 12 and a half to 25 years.
