One thousand lucky students may have the opportunity to go to college for free if they complete LeBron James’ mentoring program.
The scholarships are available to middle school kids in the Akron public school system. If the children complete the six year mentoring program with the LeBron James Family Foundation supported by JP Morgan Chase and The University of Akron, they’ll receive a free ride.
As many as 1,000 children could benefit from the program, a spokesman from JP Morgan Chase said.
