Kendrick Lamar to Perform With National Symphony

K-Dot will perform selections from his sophomore album, To Pimp a Butterfly, at the Kennedy Center on Oct. 20 at 8 p.m.

For one night only, Kendrick will appear with an orchestra conducted by Steven Reineke. In his fifth year as Principal Pops Conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra, Reineke has led performances featuring notables from Nas to Seth MacFarlane.

Tickets for the event will start at $35, and Kennedy Center Members can snag them as early as Sept. 29 at 10 a.m. The rest of Welvin Da Great’s fanbase can purchase tickets on Sept. 30.
