HBO has released a trailer for J. Cole’s upcoming Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming special that gives an inside look into the rapper’s life and upbringing.
“My dream for Fayetteville is that people here can wake up and realize that anything you want is possible if you want it,” Cole says of his North Carolina hometown in the trailer.
The 90-minute special interweaves the story of Cole’s life and the concert. As seen in the clip, the presentation will feature cameos from Drake and Jay Z.
“Growing up it felt like there wasn’t no opportunity here. I would come back home and there’s that feeling that there’s no place like home,” Cole says.
J. Cole Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming will air Jan. 9 at 10 p.m. ET.
