Meek Mill’s Court Hearing to Continue Next Week

nicki-minaj_vlogThursday (Dec 10) Meek Mill made his way to a Philly court room to address his travel habits which the judge believe is violating his probation.

Judge Genece Brinkley is threatening to send Meek back behind bars. Prosecutors say the 28-year-old rapper violated parole in a 2009 drug and gun case by repeatedly changing his court-approved travel schedule.

Meek recently attended the American Music Awards in Los Angeles, where Nicki Minaj picked up two awards.

Defense lawyer Frank DeSimone said the music industry is chaotic, and Mill is not trying to disrespect the judge.

Nicki took the stand for about half an hour in an effort to keep Mill out of jail. She told the judge she’ll help Mill stay organized and work with him to fulfill his community service requirement.

“He’s not perfect but I can’t believe how much he’s changed,” she said.

Mill is due back before Brinkley on Dec. 17. The judge said Meek also submitted a suspicious urine sample.
