Beyonce isn’t the only one surprising fans with new music before Super Bowl. Hours ahead of the big game today (Feb. 7), Missy Elliott has shared a new song called “Pep Rally.”
“#SuperBowl this my new Bounce ‘PepRally’ get u right 4the game where my Clappers,” she tweeted.
“Pep Rally” follows her late 2015 track WTF “(Where They From)” featuring Pharrell Williams. She hasn’t released a new album since 2005’s The Cookbook.
“Pep Rally” can also be heard in a commercial for Amazon’s Echo speaker, which features Missy, Alec Baldwin and Jason Schwartzman. The ad will air during Super Bowl 50. Watch it and hear the single below.
