Last night, producer Hudson Mohawke threatened to leak a collection of unreleased beats intended for Kanye West and Drake, claiming on Twitter that he was yet to receive payment for his work.
Shortly after, he tweeted that his “wonderful friends and family” had talked him out of it, before explaining this morning that he couldn’t afford the potential legal consequences. See his tweets below.
The producer has credits on ‘Ye’s recently released LP The Life of Pablo and Drake’s 2013 album Nothing Was The Same.
He’s also signed to Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music. Since it’s original post, the tweet has since been deleted.
