After years of being independent, 21 Savage has announced he’s signed a major label deal with Epic Records. He made the announcement on the latest episode of the Rap Radar podcast.
When asked why he chose Epic and the bossman L.A. Reid, 21’s answer was simple. “Because he’s black,” 21 says. “He’s probably the last black CEO. Why not? He’ll understand me before anyone else.”
