WATCH Teacher Give ‘Bad and Boujee’ History Lesson About the Civil War

It’s safe to say the Migos’ “Bad and Boujee” is one of the biggest rap tracks out now. It’s so hot that a Rockdale County, Georgia teacher remixed his history lesson to it.

An eighth-grade teacher named David Yancey, who goes by Mr. Yancey on YouTube, has been using hit songs like Adele’s “Hello” and Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles” to spice up his curriculum.

Yancey’s latest lesson on the Civil War received a boost from Migos’ “Bad and Boujee,” reworked as “Mad and Losing.”

“You know, it’s your boy, Honest Abe, making this song to shut down the lames,” Yancey begins before referencing Abraham Lincoln, the Gettysburg Address, and the Emancipation Proclamation. The clip also shows his students pitching in on ad-libs and dancing from their desks.
