On Monday morning (Dec. 11), Gucci revealed the release date for his 12th album El Gato the Human Glacier on Twitter. “#ElGatoTheHumanGlacier drops Dec22 produced entirely by @sizzle808MAFIA 10 songs in 2 days,” Gucci tweeted — referring to his frequent collaborator, Southside, who helmed the 10-track endeavor.
This past September, Gucci initially had plans of going the independent route in 2018 and to liberate a ton of music for his devotees. Last month Gucci axed those plans and announced his $10 million extension with Atlantic Records on Twitter. “Thank You @AtlanticRecords for the 10 million dollar extension #ELGATOTheHumanGlacier I appreciate It sincerely,” he said.
