Fat Joe is home for the holiday.
You may remember the rapper was sentenced to four months in prison for federal tax evasion charges. He also received a $15,000 fine and a year of supervision. On August 26, he turned himself in to Miami’s Federal Detention Center.
Reportedly, “Joe failed to pay taxes on some $3 million in income for years 2007 through 2010, an estimated tax loss to the government of $718,038.”
According to an Instagram post by producer DJ Nasty, Joe was released early today. The following video shows Joe surprising his daughter.
