Chris Brown Taken Into Custody

chris_jailChris Brown has been taken into custody by U.S. marshals and will be transported to Washington, D.C., for an upcoming misdemeanor assault trial. I guess his attorney’s plea to transport Breezy himself fell on deaf ears.

TMZ reports that Chris is on his way to a federal holding facility in San Bernardino to begin his long trip to Washington D.C. where he will stand trial for assault.

Chris will board a airplane guarded by U.S. Marshals and appropriately restrained, but the flight is NOT a non-stop. In fact, it will not get there until Sunday. (D*mn!!!)

Reportedly there will be stops along the way to pick up other prisoners. (SMH … double d*mn)

Chris will be in D.C. for a hearing Monday where his lawyer, Mark Geragos, will try to get the charges dismissed because he believes prosecutors inappropriately used the grand jury to gain an unfair advantage in the criminal case.

BUT if Geragos loses, Chris will sit in a D.C. jail facility until his D.C. trial kicks off on April 17.

If convicted in the Washington case, Chris could face additional penalties, including time behind bars.

After his D.C. trial, Chris will be due back in L.A. for a probation violation hearing, where he could face additional penalties and of course time in jail.

Wow … you can’t even feel sorry for this kid. He’s had nine lives to get it together including at one time the support of Rihanna. it’s just time to pay the piper. It is, what it is.
