Pharrell and his partnership with adidas are teaming up with the NBA to create t-shirts from recycled plastic in honor of its Green Week (April 3-10).
Through his textile company, Bionic Yarn, (Pharrell serves as the Creative Director) he will provide a limited edition of commemorative shirts made out of “postconsumer plastic bottles,” that will serve as the uniform for the league’s players this week. The outfits will include wholly organic cotton adidas shooting shirts, and the adidas Revolution 30 uniforms, made out of 60% recycled resources.
