The songstress just signed a new deal with BMI for representation of the public performances of her music.
“Jhené Aiko has brought a new and fresh sound to music,” said Catherine Brewton, BMI VP of writer/publisher relations, in a statement. “Her smooth voice and compelling lyrics are the perfect combination to fill a void in popular music”
Her debut Souled Out is due later this year.
