Two decades after the loss, the murder of Tupac Shakur will be reflected on in National Geographic’s upcoming six-hour documentary, The 90s: The Last Great Decade.

A portion of the segment will delve into what happened that night. “The atmosphere in Club 622 was very funky,” Gobi Rahimi, the rapper who was with Tupac on the night of his passing, said of the club owned by Suge Knight. “It just seemed like there were a lot of questionable characters in there.”

The three-night, six-hour documentary is set to air in two-hour blocks July 6-8 at 9p.m. The series will also feature commentary from Roseanne Barr, Tony Blair, Matthew Perry, Jason Alexander, Monica Lewinsky, Vanilla Ice and more on all of the 90′s highs and lows.
