Nicki Minaj Graces Fader Magazine

imageNicki Minaj is gracing the cover of Fader Magazine all au naturel.

In the article she talks mostly about her upcoming third album, The Pink Print.

Check out a couple of facts Billboard has laid out from the interview:

Expect Rihanna, Drake Features on The Pink Print: Much like her studio debut Pink Friday, she’s planning on having both Rihanna and Drake as features on the album — although she did warn Fader that Drake is “unpredictable.”

She’s Aiming to Make This Album a Classic: Despite many highlights, neither her debut nor its follow-up are stone-cold hip-hop classics, but The Pink Print might change that. Minaj told Fader it will be “the blueprint for female rappers to come,” which makes us wonder if we can expect something along the lines of Jay Z’s classic The Blueprint album, but through the lens of her Minajesty.

Minaj Hasn’t Forgotten Her Early, Harder Material: Longtime fans often complain she’s gotten away from her hard-hitting, less mainstream-oriented mixtape days. And Minaj is listening. The YMCMB rapper said she considered doing a tour solely behind her pre-fame mixtape material “for my diehard fans from five or six years ago,” but she worries she’s too big for a small venue tour at this point: “My fans reminded me, ‘We can’t all fit in the club!'”

Actually, She’s Forgotten Some of the Early Stuff: When Fader showed her a video of Broad City’s Ilana Glazer dancing and lip-syncing to an obscure 2010 Minaj feature on a song called “Get Wit It” from a rapper named Smiley, Minaj had absolutely no memory of the verse. “What the hell? I did so many verses around that time, and sometimes I really don’t remember,” she said.
