Orlando Scandrick Suspended for Molly Use

drayaSo Draya Michele’s ex-beau (?) Dallas Cowboy Orlando Scandrick has been suspended.

On Monday (Aug. 11), Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones announced Orlando was suspended for the first four games of the NFL season following his violation of the league’s substance abuse policy. The starting cornerback tested positive for the drug MDMA, more commonly known as “molly.” A source told ESPN that Scandrick failed a drug test back in April, but filed an appeal for the examination’s results. Unfortunately, the appeal was lost and the decision was made to suspend Orlando Monday.

Supposedly, Orlando popped a Molly while on vacation in Mexico with his Draya, Basketball Wives. This mysterious source went on to add that Orlando says that Draya convinced him to drink his cocktail along with a mystery “substance.” (Side-eye, bold-face lie )

Orlando then released a lengthy statement about the situation:

I would like to apologize to my children, my family, the Jones family, my coaches, my teammates and my fans. Failing a drug test is far out of my character, and although I never knowingly took a performance-enhancing drug/banned stimulant while on vacation in Mexico, I take full responsibility for what goes in my body and more importantly for the embarrassment of a failed drug test. It’s my goal by issuing this statement to clear my name and more importantly to be judged by what happens to me in the future. I hope that my family, my Cowboys football family and all my fans can forgive me for this situation. I look forward to a successful 2014 season.
