What is it about Iggy Azalea that puts everyone on their worst behavior. Now, the latest man to throw shade her way is Eminem.
A leaked snippet of the Bad Meets Evil song “Vegas” features Em aiming at Iggy:
“You’re lucky just to follow my ride/ If I let you run alongside the Humvee/ Unless you’re Nicki, grab you by the wrist, let’s ski/ So what’s it gon’ be/ Put that shit away, Iggy/ You don’t wanna blow that rape whistle on me,” he raps.
Well you know Iggy wasn’t going to let that ride. She took to Twitter to air her thoughts out.
The “Vegas” snippet comes a week after Eminem threatened to “punch Lana Del Rey right in the face twice like Ray Rice.”
My two-cents: Why is it that Eminem gets a pass on lyrics like this? For years he’s rapped about killing off his ex-wife and now’s he’s punching Lana. He’s raping Iggy. Meanwhile rappers like Rick Ross and J. Cole have issued full blown written statements for lyrics that have rubbed people wrong. In general, why Em so darK? Despite the fact that he’s rich, famous and talented, you couldn’t pay to be this man. He seems troubled and sad. I digressed…but the bottom line. That’s unacceptable.
