According to Yahoo Sports, boxing promoter Bob Arum has revealed that Manny Pacquiao has agreed to terms for a fight with his long time rival, Floyd Mayweather.
Arum says Pacman has agreed to set terms that have also been approved by Mayweather’s reps, but surprisingly Floyd himself has yet to formally agree. Sources tell Yahoo the fight could be going down on May 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas with a 60/40 split in profits — in Mayweather’s favor.
Yahoo Sports reports that the fight would go down on May 2 at the MGM with a 60/40 purse split that would favor Mayweather. If this is all true, Floyd could be making upwards of $120 million from the fight.
Word is there’s been buzz about this for about 6 years.
