Kendrick stopped by the infamous Breakfast Club yesterday.
In a candid interview he talked about the roll out of his new album, signing with J. Cole, Tupac but the one thing that my ears perked up to was his recent engagement to his long-time girlfriend.
The two have kept their relationship pretty hush ever since K-Dot blew up a few years ago. However, when asked, Kendrick opened up about it and explained what it means to stick by his girl’s side.
“I’m loyal to the soil,” he said. “At the end of the day you want to always have real people around you period. Everybody that’s been around me has been down since day one and I can’t change that. I don’t change for nobody. I always show respect when respect is being given and people that’s been by your side, you supposed to honor that. That’s how you stand up.”
Congrats to that man. I’m sure it’s not the story TopDog wanted to come from this interview, but people are always a sucker for love.
