\"wayne_rayj\"<\/a>Lil Wayne recently sat down with Nice Kicks and discussed his Trukfit clothing line as well the origins of his skater style.<\/p>\n

In regards to his skater style, Weezy says it was his desire to be different that drew him to skater fashion. <\/p>\n

\u201cI just wanted to be different,\u201d Lil Wayne said. \u201cI kinda figured that if I like something, I\u2019ll always end up loving it. So, I liked they swag and ended up loving it. And now I\u2019m skating\u2026I picked up the style a long time before I picked up the board\u2026You can\u2019t look like it without living it. You can\u2019t live it without talking about it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wayne was also questioned about his fans\u2019 transition from wearing long, white tees in the early 2000s to rocking his Trukfit line, which debuted in 2012.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe whole clothing line. It was just an idea. I never imagined people would wear anything that I say was cool to wear. Because everybody know I do not know how to dress. So, given that, just to see anybody throw it on is amazing to me\u2026When I see someone with it on it automatically takes me back to what I didn\u2019t have, and now what I have and want to have.\u201d<\/p>\n
