While K. Dot doesn’t drop too much tea, he does reveal that his new project is “urgent” at this time.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeen thinking about my little brothers. One little brother, he bigger than me, he\u2019s 22. Another brother, he just turned 11. Family.\u201d Lamar paused, picked it up again. \u201cI think now, how wayward things have gone within the past few months, my focus is ultimately going back to my community and the other communities around the world where they\u2019re doing the groundwork. \u2018To Pimp a Butterfly\u2019 was addressing the problem. I\u2019m in a space now where I\u2019m not addressing the problem anymore,\u201d he said. \u201cWe\u2019re in a time where we exclude one major component out of this whole thing called life: God. Nobody speaks on it because it\u2019s almost in conflict with what\u2019s going on in the world when you talk about politics and government and the system.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

I wondered if the new record would engage directly with that conflict (T Magazine writer)
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s very urgent,\u201d Lamar replied.<\/em><\/p>\n
