\n\u201cI don\u2019t owe you anything. It\u2019s not fair. This is very mean to just keep sitting on this and demanding this type of money and taking me through all of this.\u201d<\/p>\n

On What Prompted The Breaking Point:<\/strong>
\n\u201cThe overwhelming disrespect. You\u2019re way too familiar and you\u2019re disrespecting me and I can sense that I\u2019m not what you want anymore because now you\u2019re starting to throw questions around like, \u2018Ok, why don\u2019t you cook?\u2019 \u2018I haven\u2019t been cooking,\u2019 or \u2018Why don\u2019t you wear your hair like this?\u2019 I never wore my hair like this, so what\u2019s up with you? You start to realize that this man doesn\u2019t want you and he\u2019s just gone all the time. You\u2019re by yourself in the relationship. When you realize you\u2019re by yourself in the relationship and you\u2019re just suffering through it, now it\u2019s time to do some investigating.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Marriage In The Future:<\/strong>
\n\u201cRight now no, I would never get married again\u2026It\u2019s not for everybody, you lose yourself in it. You don\u2019t even realize how much you\u2019ve lost yourself. You lose your identity. You start living to please this man and want to be everything that he wants you to be\u2026I was always desperate to be loved by a man that I felt like \u2018Oh wow, this is him.\u2019 My desperation got me tricked.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Touring During The Divorce Proceedings:<\/strong>
\n\u201cI needed to be somewhere other than home thinking about all of this foolishness, these lawyers and this and that. All of the stupidity. I needed to be somewhere that I could vent and express myself and use my music for my own therapy and get some energy back from the fans.<\/p>\n

On The Positive Reception Of Her Album Announcement:<\/strong>
\n\u201cI\u2019m glad. I\u2019m glad. Unfortunately, in this situation, my fans will be happy. They\u2019re going to be happy anyway, but it\u2019s healing time. A lot of us need to get through some stuff that we don\u2019t want to tell nobody about, but I\u2019m going to tell. This is what I\u2019m here for.\u201d<\/p>\n
