With two wins Sunday night (and the first of his career), the Atlanta star also became the first black director to win the award for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Later in the night, he took the mic again for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy\u2014marking the first time in 32 years a person of color has won in that category.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I blacked out,&#8221; he told E!&#8217;s Zuri Hall of his reaction to his history-making first win. &#8220;I was not ready for that.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In the process of making his speech Sunday night, Glover jokingly give a shoutout to President Donald Trump\u2026 for an unconventional reason.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to thank Trump for making black people number one on the most-oppressed list,\u201d he said. \u201cHe\u2019s probably the reason I\u2019m up here.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-video\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">My man Donald Glover picks up another one at the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Emmys?src=hash\">#Emmys<\/a>!
