Here are some quick thoughts on some current stories.<\/p>\n

\"mimi_Cover\"<\/a>Drugs Found on Justin Bieber\u2019s Tour Bus.<\/b>\u00a0 So yesterday, tons of stories hit the net maintaining the Biebs was busted with drugs.\u00a0 Well here\u2019s the last and most important sentence of\u00a0one of those\u00a0articles:\u00a0 \u201cPolice said that currently no one in Bieber\u2019s entourage will be charged as of now \u2013 as investigators have no way to tell who was in possession of the illegal substance before it was left on the bus.\u201d <\/a>Unless you find drugs on the actual artists, these stories can stop. In my mind, it\u2019s just another reason to malicely tarnish their image. Ohhh…and if I can really talk freely.\u00a0 I don’t want to hear about a pot bust either.\u00a0 Pot is d*mn near legal.\u00a0 Call me when it’s meth or coke.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Mariah being replaced with J.Lo on Idol?<\/b><\/a>\u00a0 Now wouldn\u2019t that be interesting.\u00a0 I remember when no one even wanted J.Lo on the show.\u00a0 Now there\u2019s talk of a possible comeback??\u00a0 For what it\u2019s worth, Fox has come out and strongly denied there was any truth to that rumor.\u00a0 Supposedly, it was an inaccurate extrapolation from a \u00a0report that “Idol” would like to bring J.Lo back for the season finale.\u00a0 Personally, I don\u2019t believe this at all.\u00a0 I know the ratings are low, but I don\u2019t think the show will score any points by pulling a mean-girl \/ Today<\/em> show type coup.\u00a0 As we know, that plummeted Today\u2019s<\/em> ratings even more.\u00a0 I think the bottom line is that the show is old.\u00a0 It\u2019s long and dragged out.\u00a0 Many times the winners don\u2019t become the huge artists that most feel they\u2019re entitled to become.\u00a0 There\u2019s no way they can pinpoint Mariah, who incidentally hasn\u2019t been the diva everyone predicted.\u00a0 But perhaps that\u2019s what Idol wanted.\u00a0 For Mimi to act a fool and bring their ratings up.\u00a0 Don\u2019t fall for it girl. You have to eat after this debacle of a show goes off the air. Don\u2019t be surprised if like J.Lo, Mariah takes her $18 million and heads for the hills.<\/p>\n

A.J. Clemente explains F-bomb drop on Today show<\/a>.<\/b>\u00a0 I didn\u2019t know this guy got fired.\u00a0 So A.J., an anchor on NBC’s North Dakota affiliate, released a F-bomb on live TV a week ago after totally butchering runner Tsegaye Kebede\u2019s name. Supposedly while he was practicing the name, he let the F-word rip, but the broadcast started 30 seconds earlier than anticipated.\u00a0 D*mn.\u00a0 Don\u2019t you hate when that happens.\u00a0 Honestly, I\u2019m so numb to curse words, I don\u2019t even pause too much when I hear them.\u00a0 I\u2019m more offended by the hours of depressing coverage these local channels report.\u00a0 Even more sad is how they tend to prey on those \u2018rough around the edge\u2019 citizens to explain happenings. To me, there\u2019s a little bit of mockery there. \u00a0Local news is not the best and I honestly rarely watch it. But\u2026. If I was betting woman, I would gamble that the ratings went through the roof when A.J. dropped\u00a0 that little ray of sunshine. Well, worse things could happen.\u00a0 Seeing as how he\u2019s sitting on the couch at the Today<\/em> show, I\u2019d say A.J. and his potty mouth will be okay.<\/p>\n
