Previews for the the Kenny Leon-directed production will begin May 26.<\/p>\n<p>The non-biographical musical&#8217;s description is as follows:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Holler If Ya Hear Me, the world inside Tupac Shakur&#8217;s music and lyrics, blazes to life in a non-biographical story about friendship, family, revenge, change and hope. Inner city lives struggle for peace against the daily challenges they face in this entertaining and original musical. <!--more-->Through the poetry of one of the 20th century\u2019s most influential and culturally prominent voices, we are given a window into realities of the streets still relevant today.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The musical will use songs like \u201cMe Against the World,&#8221; \u201cKeep Ya Head Up,&#8221; &#8220;California Love,&#8221; and of course the 1993 record &#8220;Holler If Ya Hear Me&#8221; from 2Pac&#8217;s catalog.<\/p>\n<p>Holler If Ya Hear Me was penned by Todd Kreidler and will be produced by Tupac&#8217;s mother, Afeni Shakur, Eric L.
