It seems she wasn&#8217;t given a green light to speak to students there. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wanted to go back to my HS and speak to the students but the new principal declined,\u201d Nicki wrote on Twitter on Thursday (September 11). \u201cNo need for me to inspire them, I guess.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the past, Nicki has spoken highly of her alma mater, LaGuardia High School of Music &amp; Art and Performing Arts, located in New York. \u201cIt was the first time I felt like I really fit in,\u201d she told Teen Vogue last year. <\/p>\n<p><em>My two-cents:  I predict they&#8217;ll reconsider once all the kids wake up and get word of this rejection. <\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p>I wanted to go back to my HS and speak to the students but the new principal declined.
