If you’re a Tidal subscriber, today may be your lucky day.
According to Tidal executive Vania Schlogel, Hov – and other musicians including Jack White – have been cold calling subscribers thanking them for their support. Schlogel told Business Insider, “He called some of his fans and one of them made the funniest comment. He said ‘This is the best customer service call I’ve ever received!'”
The musicians have been gaining access to their fans’ contact information via their own Tidal accounts where they can monitor who has been listening to their music and get the stats on their albums.
Schlogel further noted that Jay is “very deeply involved, and the reason being is because this is a life project for him” and that “he works every day” on the site.
My two-cents: Hope this works out for him. Its very polarizing so good or bad its garnering lots of attention.
