June 15th marked the six-year anniversary of J. Cole’s classic mixtape, The Warm Up.
To celebrate the occasion, Cole has announced the 3rd annual “Dollar and a Dream Tour.” Presented by Puma, the third installment will feature the emcee performing 2010’s much heralded Friday Night Lights mixtape in its entirety for the first-time ever.
The 4-date tour begins June 21 in Dallas, Texas, hitting New York City, Atlanta and Los Angeles. Like the previous “Dollar and a Dream” tours, the shows only cost $1.00 to attend on a first-come first served basis, with the secret venue locations announced hours before showtime on Twitter. Supporting J. Cole will be fellow Dreamville artists Bas, Omen and Cozz.
Along with the tour announcement, J. Cole dropped a 7-minute vlog of last year’s “Dollar and a Dream: The Warm Up” tour, with cameos from Drake and Kendrick Lamar.
