Hostess Snacks, the company behind Twinkies and other cake treats, got the attention of Chance the Rapper on Monday (June 26) via Twitter….. but probably not the kind of was looking for.
Chance called out Hostess over a tweet from last week, where the snack company put a Chance-like hat on top of a box of its apple streusel coffee cakes and asked, “How good is Chance the Snacker? I’d say comparable to Apple Streusel Coffee Cakes.”
Chance’s response came Monday, asking not for some of those coffee cakes but for money for the use of his brand.
“GIVE ME MY COIN,” he wrote to the brand.
Understandably, Hostess has since deleted its original post
