Vogue Sued over KimYe Issue

imageJust when we thought it was all good, Vogue is in now hot water for their KimYe cover.

Page Six reports that Rickey Spicer, the singer from 1970s group Ponderosa Twins Plus One, who previously sued Kanye West for allegedly using his voice in a sample on “Bound 2”, has now filed a civil suit against Vogue publisher, Condé Nast, for their use of the Yeezus track in their exclusive behind-the-scenes video of the April issue cover shoot.

The court documents read: “Mr. Spicer’s voice is used substantially throughout the video, comprising approximately 44 percent of the lyrics.”

Spicer is seeking an undisclosed amount. SMH … was that necessary? You know Vogue had no idea about this lawsuit.
