While Nicki Minaj is off promoting her new single “Anaconda,” an entertainment company has hit her with a $50,000 lawsuit.
IMP Entertainment claims that they paid Nicki $50K for a hosting gig during NBA All-Star weekend in Hollywood, Calif. on February 19, 2011. Page Six however reports that she showed up 90 minutes late to the party, and left 30 minutes after her arrival which “defeated the entire purpose of” the emcee’s approval to host the festivity.
In the meantime, Nicki is preparing for her performance at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, taking place on August 24 at 9pm ET on MTV.
