Lil Wayne Suing Cash Money for $51 Million?

Weezy2Ooops… Did we say that Weezy was suing Baby for $8 million. Our bad…. Looks like that number is waaay higher.

So it seems Wayne has filed a lawsuit against Birdman and Cash Money for violating his contract by withholding millions owed to him for his delayed Tha Carter V album to the tune of $51 million.

TMZ reports that Tha Carter V will see the light of day only if the rapper gets paid. He was promised an $8 million advance in December — when he reportedly started recording the album — and another $2 million after the album was completed.

For violating the contract, Weezy belives that he should be able to leave Cash Money. But that’s not all. Wayne has asked a judge to declare him the joint copyright holder of all of Young Money Entertainment recordings. AND …. Wayne plans to take all his Young Money artists — including Nicki Minaj and Drake — when he parts ways with the label.

My two-cents: What a mess. Can’t they work this out? Is this because of the bromance with Young Thug?
