Although her Selfish book will not officially go on sale until May, fans are more than ready.
Kim Kardashian released 500 limited edition copies of her highly-anticipated selfie book Thursday afternoon (April 16) on the website Gilt. The books sold out in less than a minute. Selfish retails at $60 per book, including a special cover with the selfie queen’s autograph.
The book will feature some never-before-seen photos as well as the famously leaked photos. While other celebrities were pissed Kim was thinking business. “I wasn’t intending to put these in the book but saw them online during the iCloud hack. I’m not mad at them,” she said. “Lol They are taken with a Blackberry and I don’t have iCloud…It’s all a mystery!”
AdWeek recently interviewed Kim about her book, where she said, “so many people think that taking so many selfies is just ridiculous. For me, what’s so funny is I love taking pictures and posting them on social media for memories.” She went on to say, “You have to have a sense of humor every once in a while.”
