Ja Rule Featured in White Collar Documentary

ja.ohsodjWell Ja has been lying low for a minute but don’t count him out yet.

CNBC has announced that he will be featured in their forthcoming documentary, White Collar Convicts: Life on the Inside. The film crew spoke with Ja specifically about his time in the same lockup facility as former Tyco CEO Dennis Kozlowski, who was sentenced in 2005 to 8 years to 25 years in prison. Says Ja of Kozlowski: “I don’t think he knew, but I guess people briefed him on who I was.” The Grammy winner goes on to say, “Me and Koz actually met, and he introduced himself to me, and said, ‘I hear you’re the rapper guy.’” Ja explains that the disgraced CEO latched onto him because the most common ulterior motive among the inmates–extorting one another for financial gain–didn’t apply to him, a wealthy musician.
