The FADER magazine and Sprite have partnered together to create four documentary shorts on Drake, Nas, Vince Staples and Isaiah Rashad.
The docu-series will support the “Obey Your Verse™” Lyrical Collection, which is covering Sprite cans with lyrics from Drake, Nas, Biggie, and Rakim throughout the summer.
“Just rapping is not that impressive anymore,” Drake says in the above series trailer. “There just has to be more. You have to be a multi-layered artist.” If that’s true, the docs show that this kind of complex potential can come from anywhere, if you just commit to yourself. “Everybody got a purpose, and you gotta find yours,” says Vince Staples. “Just go for it.”
