Kanye West made his way to “Jimmy Kimmel Live” last night. The conversation began a little awkward when Jimmy mentioned the origins of their last Twitter battle, but ended in a bromance when Kimmelgave West, 36, tiny leather jogging pants for his baby, North West.
For the most part, Kanye used the time to be a little transparent for viewers to understand his motives:
“I’m not running for office. “I’m just here to make good music and make people feel good when they hear my music. When I did that interview, I was really vocal about a lot of things I had been dealing with over the last ten years, when I had put in the classification as just a celebrity.”
He continued, “I’m a creative genius, and there’s no other way to word it. I know you’re not supposed to say that about yourself. I say things the wrong way a lot of times, but the intention is always positive.”
Too bad Kanye’s motives didn’t work on me. Who is this guy? He even speaks differently than the old Kanye that hit the music scene years ago. SMH … I can’t relate to this new Kanye Kardashian. He’s went from making music for the people to having rich people problems. Woe as me I can’t walk down the street without the paps following me. Fashion doesn’t accept me. They won’t give me a star on the Hollywood Hall of Fame. How much do want to be that Kim Kardashian is loving her life? She was somewhere in the greenroom of Jimmy Kimmel eating bons bons. To me Kanye stopped being an artist a while ago. Now he’s some sort of character I watch to be entertained.
