TMZ is reporting that Birdman is not a happy camper when it comes to Tyga.
Apparently Tyga’s latest move encouraging fans to listen to songs from “The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty” on free music streaming services, like Spotify was not label approved.
No one’s buying what can be obtained for free and it shows with sales of just 2,200 copies in its first week. By comparison, Tyga’s last record sold almost half a million copies.
Supposedly Birdman thinks Tyga sabotaged his own sales to get out of his deal, and go sign with Lil Wayne. But Birdman is not having it. He has no intention of counting this sabotaged album against his contractual obligations. That means Tyga would still owe him another one…. Allegedly.
