Taylor Swift Makes Herself A Victim in Nicki Minaj’s Twitter Rant

nickiminaj_BBMAIt all started with the MTV VMA nominations were revealed.

Nicki got a nod in the “Best Female Video” and “Best Hip-Hop Video” categories for “Anaconda” but felt left out of that coveted “Video of the Year” grouping. FYI … nominees in the biggest category of the night include Taylor Swift herself, Beyonce, Ed Sheeran, and Mark Ronson.

Upset, Nicki took to Twitter to vent… but somehow Taylor Swift voluntarily commented … and all hell broke loose. Check out the messages below (click to enlarge).

My two-cents: Nicki’s VMA rant was her own personal plight – right or wrong. For the life of me I have no idea why Taylor Swift inserted herself in Nicki’s comments. No matter how much of a Swift fan you are there’s no good reason for her to have any reason to get involved. This girl is so used to attention and being a victim that she some how turned Nicki’s rant into being about her. Watching how the media spun this about Taylor and use angry, aggressive photos of Nicki is something I wouldn’t believe if I hadn’t witnessed it myself. It’s sad and infuriating.
