Rita Ora Finally Responds to A$AP Rocky

rita-ora_nessRita Ora is back on the music scene. This week she’s been making her promo rounds on her new single “Body On Me” featuring Chris Brown. But … we all know she can’t make those rounds without touching on the very public and nasty rift between her and A$AP Rocky.

The bitter “relationship” between A$AP Rocky and Rita came to light when he released “Better Things” on his At.Long.Last.A$AP album.

“I swear that bitch Rita Ora got a big mouth/ Next time I see her might curse the bitch out/ Kicked the bitch out once ’cause she bitched out, spit my kids out/ Jizzed up all in her mouth and made the bitch bounce.”

In an interview with BBC’s Annie Mac, Rocky clarified what triggered the lyrics, stating “I’m not saying she’s a terrible person, I’m just saying that when I was in a relationship and I did things with her that I wasn’t supposed to do, she had a big mouth.”

Just last month in an interview with The Guardian, Rocky shared some regret calling the verse tasteless. “The Rita thing was tasteless of me. [But] I’ve got to stand by it, because I did it. I said it,” he said. “Who gives a f— about who I’m f—ing? Nobody really cares. It’s fun to hear, but who really gives a f— about who Rita Ora’s f—ing?.”

For the first-time in an interview with Hot 97’s Nessa, Rita gave her thoughts on A$AP Rocky and that particular verse. “I’m not looking at it like ‘you’re upsetting me’ because I don’t actually give a shit,” she said. “I think about it and I don’t want people to think it’s OK to speak about women like that. That’s it.”

She later said, “I don’t care what you say about me. I don’t give a flying fuck. That’s just how it is, but you know got to keep it moving. I’m very happy with what I do and I’m proud of who I am and what I represent.”

My two-cents: I love some Flacko, fan to the end, but that was some bullshit he pulled on Rita. When you’re doing wrong in life, take that ‘L’ like a ‘G.’ You can’t blame her because you got busted at your own game. I’ve never thought too much about Rita .. mostly because I’m not too familiar with her .. but she was really classy when talking about A$AP. Her comments come toward the end of the video.
