Jadakiss and Styles P are educating their respective hoods about different sources of nourishment beyond bodega treats thanks to a new juice bar chain, Juices For Life.
“Growing up in Yonkers, New York, we didn’t know what was good for us,” Jada says in the Elite Daily video. “If you walked down the block in the hood, it’s nearly impossible to find something healthy to put in your body.”
Personal experience also motivated the rap stars to launch the business. “It was a time where I really needed to change my life, to be honest with you,” Styles P said. “I knew I was on the road a lot, show by show, night by night, barely sleeping, catching cases on the streets, fighting—I knew I needed balance.”
Now, Kiss and Styles P are juicing their way to a healthier lifestyle, in hopes the hood will follow. Watch below.
