Drake & Future’s WATTBA Top the Charts

what a timeThe numbers are in for the surprise collab bewtween Drake and Future What A Time To Be Alive. Their new mixtape released last Saturday exclusively on iTunes/Apple Music. Did they reach the half a mill experts predicted?

Hits Daily Double reports that What A Time To Be Alive sold 339,538 digital copies opening week (378,630 with streams included).

It will make Drake’s second No. 1 LP this year, as his now platinum If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late also debut at the top spot back in February. It also marks Future’s second No. 1 album this year, in just span of three months, as Dirty Sprite 2 topped Billboard’s album charts back in July.

The mixtape will be available on other streaming services like Spotify, at 12:01 am EST Saturday (Sept 26).

Mac Miller’s third solo LP GO:OD AM is also making a splash on the album charts. It will debut No. 3 on Billboard this weekend, selling 78,024 copies opening week (90,152 with streams).
