The Weeknd has dodged jail time.
The Canadian singer appeared in court last week and plead no contest to a January incident where he allegedly punched a police officer in the backc of the head after they attempted to break a fight at the Cromwell Hotel in Vegas.
Instead of jail time, The Weeknd will have to give $1,000 to a fund for injured police officers. He was also ordered to complete anger management, an alcohol evaluation and 50 hours of community service, which will take place at a non-profit in Canada.
