Could a 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne Collab Album Be on the Way?

During a recent interview with Rap Radar podcast, 2 Chainz revealed that he’s planning a joint project – “ColliGrove” – with Lil Wayne. “That will be out probably sooner than people think.”

Of course Chainz remained tight-lipped on further details. But based on their history, we can expect a project will come to light. What people may not know is just how close Chainz and Weezy are.

In a 2012 interview with MTV, Weezy reminisced on his friendship with Chainz, back when he went by Tity Boi. “That’s my best friend, that’s my homie from back in the day,” he said. “It’s almost like — I don’t wanna say it, it seem crazy when I say it, but it’s like watching your child up there. It feels too good; it’s a weird feeling.”
