It’s been two years since Lil Wayne dropped Tha Carter IV and if we listen to Young Money’s SVP of Promotions, the follow-up may be coming soon.
Mel Smith tweeted the following message today to fans:
“Happy Friday!! New YMCMB music coming soon!! Carter 5.”
Now this becomes significant because Weezy revealed to Jimmy Kimmel this year that he’d hope to retire after Tha Carter V.
I suppose if his retirement is anything like Jay Z’s he won’t be gone for long.
