Bad new for the Navy. There will be no Grammy performance from BadGalRiRi. She has had to cancel her performance due to illness.
She pulled out of her scheduled performance at Monday’s Grammy awards due to bronchitis.
RiRi showed up to the Staple’s Center for rehearsals, but did not walk the red carpet. Her condition was so bad she feared she could permanently damage her vocal cords and decided against taking the stage.
“Rihanna’s doctor put her on vocal rest for 48-hours because she was at risk of hemorrhaging her vocal chords. The antibiotics she has been on for three days did not kill the infection adequately therefore she cannot perform safely,” the singer’s rep told the Daily News in a statement.
She was scheduled to perform “Kiss It Better” from her new album ANTI.
