A$AP Rock Teams Up with J.W. Anderson

asap-rocky-GQNot long after collaborating with Guess for a ’90s-inspired collection in January, A$AP Rocky headed back into the design studio with Northern Irish designer Jonathan Anderson.

J.W. Anderson on Thursday (June 9) announced that the rapper and his creative team, AWGE, has teamed up with the London-based brand to create a men’s capsule collection, launching this month.

“Jonathan is a designer that sticks to his own instincts and J.W. Anderson has a really unique aesthetic. AWGE is built from the same principles, which is why this collaboration is a perfect fit together,” A$AP Rocky, who donned the label on tour and in his music video “Jukebox Joints,” said in a statement.

Added Anderson: “Rocky is an influential modern artist who has a strong point of view on fashion.”

The collection features the performer’s own flair on the zip ring pull and teddy faux fur, which were seen in the fall 2015 men’s show. Priced from $275 to $1,300, the exclusive collab offers two knitted beanies, two knitted tracksuit tops with matching bottoms and two teddy fur jackets.

The J.W. Anderson x A$AP Rocky range is available for pre-order at j-w-anderson.com, and at the J.W. Anderson Workshops (100 Shoreditch High St., London).
