If you happen to see his latest IG post, it certainly gave that impression. The picture was captioned with “DONE DEAL”, following several Apple emoji’s and a tag to Apple Music’s account. Even more compelling, the photo included Larry Jackson. Jackson is the head of content for Apple Music. In a recent interview with Billboard, Jackson shared about his relationship with Drizzy. “[Drake’s team and I] talk a dozen times a day, at least. We’ve developed a well-oiled relationship.”
If that’s the case, then he would be following in the footsteps of Drake, Future and Chance the Rapper.
It could also be reason behind the delay of his new project Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight (BITTM). About two weeks ago he told a Canadian crowd that they should expect BITTM in a week in a half, but if he closed this Apple deal, then I think we can let him slide.
